Fischbrathalle - Reserva de mesa

This is not a fancy restaurant but the food on their limited menu is very good, you can have the fish prepared exactly the way you want -- poached, baked, fried, grilled -- and the sides are top. Be careful, though, the portions are enormous; there is a "seniors' plate" that is for a reduced price and is certainly adequate for all but teenagers and those coming directly from a sleighpulling competition. Only quibble is that the beer is only offered bottled, which is a pity but you came for the fish, right?

This restaurant is very, very old. Owned by the same family for over a hundred years. The fish is absolutely fresh, in fact you cannot smell cooking fish as you enter. It's simple in decor, good service and absolutely excellent fish with various accompaniments - my favourite is the three fish platter with fried potatoes and salad.

Too bad I only found the way here after 17 years in Münster. Super delicious and very good price ratio! Fishbread is a program. A little unconscious there, but belongs to it. Who wasn't there yet. And a tip: before booking, only lunch has opened.
