The location directly at the Weiher is of course fantastic but the anger about the slender service is so great that you can still not enjoy the stay there. We will no longer go there: Such a child-unfriendly place has rarely happened to me. In the best case, the children were ignored, unfortunately, they also received neither food nor drinks. In the worst case, the children were cut off for every little thing. Since the baptism was so catastrophic, I wrote the owner again and complained. Instead of a simple apology, justifications followed, guilt assignments to us and our guests, as well as submission that our complaints were not true. (Why?) We had paid for a long time! One of the justifications was, for example, that in children it was assumed that they were sitting with robber plates in the supplements of adults. Everything else must be ordered separately. Unfortunately, for 8 children only 4 robbers were provided (so sweetly stacked on top of each other with half a bowl of pommes on the children's table . In the case of toddlers, I can still understand the idea with the robber plates. For children between 6 and 12 years, however, half of the menu price is required as I expect the children to receive half a portion of the main course. 8,50 € (in our case only for one serving of pommes with ketchup I find quite inappropriate price. Also the adult guests were served extremely unfriendly and with a lot of impatience. In part, we were also measured and cut in like the children. Well 2.5 hours of stay were also not enough for serving an already pre-ordered appetizer including the main course (soup/salt and pork larders with hints and vegetables for 16 adult guests (there were 8 children still present, but they don't get anything here anyway, so we finally came too late for baptism. I therefore do not recommend a visit to anyone. Too bad it was really nice there.

Ambiente: Die Lage direkt am Weiher ist natürlich unschlagbar. Insbesondere wenn man draußen direkt am Wasser unter den Kastanien sitzen kann. Von innen kenne ich das Restaurant nicht. Perfekt also, um an einem warmen Sommerabend einzukehren.Service: Kommt mir immer etwas mürrisch vor, funktioniert aber wohl.Speisekarte: Schwäbische Standardkost. Qualität: Das Essen ist ganz in Ordnung, allerdings gibt es auch bessere schwäbische Küchen im Umkreis. Schlecht ist das Essen aber keinesfalls.Preise: Bierpreise entsprechen dem Standard der Region, die Preise fürs Essen könnten für meinen Geschmack für das gebotene etwas niedriger sein.Fazit: Ich komme gerne zum Feierabendbier in den Biergarten. Allerdings zieht mich das Essen alleine nicht an.Ambiente 5/5, Essen 3/5. Als Gesamtwertung würde ich, falls es möglich wäre 3,5/5 geben.

We had a lunch table for 5 people on Sunday at 12:30 and were treated like annoying supplements. Service was unfriendly and overwhelmed. Price performance is absolutely wrong. We were shocked and happy to be out of place. Could only discuss the return journey in the car together. In a very factual critique there was a mere, arrogant, repulsive and through and through unprofessional reaction with a long delay. NO Many thanks except the beautiful location you are not welcome here!

Auf unserer Heimfahrt entdeckten wir auf unserem Navi einen kleinen blauen Fleck inmitten von Grün und wurden neugierig. Wir wurden belohnt mit einem lauschigen Plätzchen am Wasser, unter Bäumen, in absoluter Ruhe. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich, Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Das Essen und das Bier waren gut, mehr braucht es nicht an einem warmen Sommerabend.

Wir waren hier zu einem 50. Geburtstag eingeladen. Das Schwäbische Buffet war wirklich klasse. Die Bedienung war super freundlich.
