But turned out to be quite disappointing, My first thought when I entered this dining was how boring the decor, I felt catapulted back in the 70s, the greeting was polite but soulless, and my heart sunk immidiatley the menu can only be described as very tired and old-fashioned. Our order was quickly taken and our selection of wine by the glass was delivered immediately. Pleasantly surprised, the white burgundy was excellent, properly cooled and the glass generously filled, but the 's where the good stuff ended, My partner and I ordered the bouillabaisse fish house style What we got was a lukewarm tomato broth with tiny scraps of indeterminate fish in it. Almost criminal to call this a bougais. The bread that was placed on the table was a few sliced pieces of baguettes and a piece of brown bread. How difficult is it to offer freshly baked baguettes or rolls that I asked myself. The most important courses where overcooked and the cosiness was muddy soft with a tasteless sauce and accompanied by overcooked tasteless beans that brown instead of crispy green. The potato gratin was okay. The ratatouille with the sole muniere was far away from any taste, looking at the desserts offered we rejected, absolutely no imagination here too. Vanilla ice cream with hot cherries? What century do you live in? The whole experience was boring, inspiring and disappointing. Since it should be a treat from my 80-year-old mother for Boxing Day, I did not want to send all food back, not to annoy the old lady. I appreciate your lucky day.
