Update: your shrimp were iced cold. May not have been in a fridge but they had to have been somewhere cold if you cooked them this morning. They were ice cold. Our waitess was very uninterested did not even ask if I needed a to go box and this picture was taken as we were leaving. I don't understand talking to the manager to make it right it should have been right to begin with.One of the worst meals I've ever had in my life in a catfish house. Tea terrible, shrimp right out of fridge several days old. Hushpuppies so hard could not crumble on my greens. No joke the worst ever!!!!
I placed a phone order for a Combination Plate with fish and shrimp, which included coleslaw and fries. For nearly $20, I expected more. The plate came with just two pieces of fish and three shrimp, which felt more like an appetizer than a proper meal. While I understand that prices have increased, it’s disappointing to see higher prices paired with smaller portions. This experience has led our family to decide that we’ve had enough. We'll be heading to the food trucks and Catfish 1 from now on!
I can't remember who our server was, but she was amazing made it a much better experience. I think her name was Melissa, but I'm not sure. She's short with short blonde hair that had pink tips. Very attentive helpful, even when overwhelmed. We couldn't have asked for a better server. The food was amazing too! The next time we're in Brookhaven, we will definitely be stopping back by finding a table in her section!
The Fish Fry is by far the best place to take your family and friends. The food and environment are top-notch.
