Fish N Chips Takeaway

Spent the day in Walton with the family, 5 adults and 3 kids (2 older early teens, one younger 6) Spent nearly £100 as we are all big eaters and a few of us to feed. Ordered at 5, the shop seemed quiet which was really nice (but this was probably due to bad weather and the coronation) service was great, the guys were really friendly. Food was all made to order and piping hot. We got large cod, nuggets, a kebab and a whole load of other bits, so between all of us sampled a good variety of the menu. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I had fish and a small chicken kebab (chicken shish) and both were really tasty, chicken tasted lovely and cooked perfect and tender. Cash only, half the customers in the queue were being sent to the cash machine at Co-op! Most people managed to figure out the queue/order/pay at the back and collect at the front though. Chips were good, fish and sausage was fine, Fish had skin on which the kids aren't a fan of. They also charge 10p per tiny sachet of ketchup so you have to estimate usage carefully in advance and packaging volume is high. Finally, fairly unusual these days but they still use polystyrene trays which can't be recycled. Cardboard or compostable would be much better.

Although it was edible it was far from the best fish and chips we have had..You could tell both the fish and chips had been sitting in the cabinet for a while and was quite dry..They were fairly busy and perhaps that's why..We ate literally as we were very hungry after a day on the beach .

We were eating fish and chips at this place yesterday, and both were very oily and did not taste good. Since 4am today my wife and both children are very sick with diarrhoea and vomiting. They cannot drink even water without running to toilet. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Reserva una mesa ahora

Food was nice and hit. Good taste and good quality. Could have done with a bigger portion for the cost but that probably goes for a lot these days with the inflation rocketing.

An ok fish and chip shop. Nothing bad but nothing brilliant. Close enough to walk to from Naze Marine park.

Went here on a random lunch visit with a few others and it was surprisingly decent.
