I decided to try out this restaurant based on its good ratings. Unfortunately, the delivery person went to the wrong address, so my food arrived only slightly warm. When I called Fisherman's Hut to let them know the correct address, the person I spoke to was not very concerned and blamed the mistake on Just Eat. Additionally, the extra cheese I ordered was melted onto the paper bag. It would be better if they provided grated cheese in a container for delivery orders.
The restaurant is small, and at first we hesitated to go in because we had a stroller with us. However, the owner came outside to welcome us, and we are so glad we decided to dine there. We enjoyed a delicious, homemade, and generously portioned fish and chips. We were very satisfied with our meal. This restaurant comes highly recommended. - Visitor from Malta.
I purchased the Medium Lamb Kebab twice in one week from this restaurant. Both times it was excellent. They were very generous with the portion of lamb, and at £3.80, it was a great value. The person serving was efficient and made a delicious kebab. I enjoy supporting local businesses, and in my opinion, this place is definitely worth supporting.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are cooked nicely. The fish is fresh and not overly greasy. The menu offers basic options and most dishes are made to order. During my visit, the restaurant only accepted cash, although I am not sure if this is a permanent policy. There are ATM machines nearby for convenience.
Always fresh, always delicious. As a local, I have tried several other local chippies but this has always come tops for taste and freshness. The service is great too. The only downside is the amount of time it takes but I guess that’s acceptable for freshly prepared food. Definitely recommend.
