As a coeliac and needing to be sure that restaurants that say dishes are gluten free really know what that means, John the manager was very helpful in giving me the ingredients and reassurance about having dedicated fryers this is a bonus and means...I also get to eat fries ! So a treat all round. The BBQ ribs have a substantial amount of meat and the half rack is very a generous size. The chicken wings are also very tasty and generous in size, the BBQ sauce tastes very authentic and comes in flavours. Very reasonable price included sides of cole slaw and fries. Due to the restrictions this was a take out meal, booked and paid online with allotted times to collect from staff bringing it to the door.
After all plans for my husbands birthday had been cancelled due to the circumstances we were recommended the Five Bells in Burwell as they had an outside area with heaters so we could meet in a socially acceptable way with friends for dinner. We...had a lovely evening and food was fab (and I’m a fussy vegetarian! service was great and I honestly could not recommend highly enough... They helped to make my husbands evening extra special and it was just so great to be out!! Even had a lovely Christmas tree in the seating area to get us in the festive sprint! Will definitely be back!!!!
Our friends invited us to join them for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed, our meals were delicious. We had the creamy garlic mushrooms to start, followed by the pork loin roast for me, which even had a lovely bit of crackling, and my husband...had the roast chicken. We both agreed that our meals were fab and the service was excellent! We will definitely be back for more of this lovely food in the future!
