The ambiance is the reason to go. The food is OK, but I found the entrees mix a bit unbalanced, and everything we ordered was salty. When you eat there, a better strategy would be to either get several appetizers in lieu of an entree or count on adding an appetizer to the Entree. There is also no starter (basket of bread or something similar) put on the table before your order is served. The service was fine. The water was kept nicely refreshed throughout the meal. A bit slow, but understaffing is the post-Covid reality in restaurants today, so no complaint about that.
It was a very unfortunate dining experience. We waited with no food for an extended period of time. Our server never came to check on us, bring more water or offer to get more drinks. We had to ask for bread after over 40 minutes when nothing had come to our table. When the food did arrive it was very inconsistently prepared. The lamb was ordered medium/medium well and was practically raw. The same was true for the filet confit, burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Overall it was very upsetting for our father's day experience.
The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and classy! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, giving off a Manhattan vibe in the five towns. The steak we ordered was cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. The bread was also amazing. Our main courses arrived promptly, but not rushed, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and pleasant.
Not sure why people said the service wasn't good. We were greeted, they asked our names, brought our drinks quickly, and made sure everything was to our liking. I had the hangar steak and it was one of the best cooked steaks I ever tasted. Portions aren't as large as other places but we left very satisfied.

I just had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The service was great, the food was incredible, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and one of the best restaurants in town. Definitely worth a visit.
