Five Guys Burgers Fries

We had heard a lot of great reviews about this place, but both my son and I were not very impressed. I am giving it 3 stars because it was decent, but not outstanding. The fries did not appeal to me either. For the price, I wish I had enjoyed it more. One positive aspect was the presence of a coke freestyle machine for drinks. In terms of location, it is situated on the outer edge of a large mall, so parking can be a challenge during peak times. I would not mind giving it another try, but I am not sure if I would recommend it to others.

This was my first visit to a Five Guys. I must say that I was taken aback at the price for just the burger; to that you still need to add the cost of fries and a drink. It 's not a cheap place take your family, as two of us for burger, fries and a drink was $31.00. Some people feel it 's equal to or better than a In-N-Out burger and fries, but I disagree; and In-N-Out would have been less than $19.00 on the expensive West Coast. Personally, it was a bit of too much salt (sodium) in the taste and fries.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing to be the first customer of the day and not have any clean tables to sit at. They have a sign promoting mask-wearing for safety, but I believe that cleaning the tables should be a priority for safety as well. When I asked for a side of mustard for my fries, this is what I received.

Unclean floor is greasy all over counter top picking food up was very very dirty. Employees just standing behind counter talking all tables are dirty no one cleaning. Also not very welcoming at register.

I love Five Guys. Their staff is always incredibly friendly and provides consistent good service. The food is delicious and they treat customers and delivery drivers with kindness.
