In an event like this, the people involved make all the difference. Jesse, the Executive Chef, was incredibly hands-on, assisting with numerous tasks—many of which I’m sure weren’t even part of his job. He was always ready to answer our questions. Shana and Ashleigh kept everything organized from the morning setup to the event’s conclusion, managing the bar, tidying tables, and addressing any issues that arose. Their smiles and positive attitudes contributed to an exceptional level of service that our guests appreciated throughout the night. My husband and I dined at this restaurant, where I ordered the Cajun Rigatoni and he chose the black bean tacos. While the presentation of the dishes was impressive, the food itself was quite disappointing. For the $50 we spent, it simply wasn't worth it. On the positive side, the staff was excellent. Our server, Sam, was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We made sure to reward her for her hard work. However, if you're looking for good food for your money, I would recommend going elsewhere. Unless, of course, you have very few taste buds—then this place might be for you.
It was super busy, so we ate at the bar, and the bartenders were great. The fried pickles appetizer will feed 10 easily! I had shrimp tacos and the stone ground grits. The tacos were okay. The grits were AMAZING! My husband had pork chops, dirty rice, and collard greens. The dirty rice was horrible. It was so overseasoned my mouth felt coated. It was not edible, and neither were the greens. They were so spicy, it was overwhelming. The pork chops were pretty spicy, too, but edible. Somebody was feeling the cayenne pepper, but it wasn't us. Absolutely awful.
I would highly recommend this place! My wife and I had a wonderful meal. I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the fish Tacos both were excellent. We had the tuxedo cake for which we should die!! Our server was quest and he was very attentive and helpful. We drove from Polkton NC and it was worth the ride!!! (Update) our truck broke off and had to drag him, the manager called us taxis and went beyond and beyond to help. We appreciate their help and will return in the not so distant future. I've visited 3 times and it was 3 times excellent! The meat dew is from the charts!! I usually don't eat meat dew, but it's amazing! All the other things my family and I had been delicious. The service was also awarded every 3 times. We had Krista as our server the last two times and she is top notch! Thanks for providing Stanly County with an excellent restaurant option!
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant last night! I tried the 5 Points chicken with mac and cheese, and we also enjoyed hummus as an appetizer. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy the outdoor terrace. Highly recommended!
The food was fantastic, and the service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The Orange Mule cocktail was a perfect 10/10; even though it wasn't on the menu, they happily made it for me. They also have an impressive selection of beers. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the drinks arrived.
