I ordered large cod and chips, cod and chips for my host family, this costs around the chips were delivered completely raw, with some yellowing on the outside of the frit. they were clearly frozen, fried for one minute or two and then slipped out and delivered. we had essentially softened some cut, raw potatoes in oil. we called up the restaurant, which said they would recover, but they just didn't disturb anything. After we had waited an hour for our food, we just gave up and ordered us elsewhere. I really disappointed and lacked a food security complaint regarding the food supplied, as it was not really suitable for the food. I strongly advise to order elsewhere, nothing could order me her...
Just your standard greasy fish and chip shop food. Lots to choose from with some meal deals also. Standard of food is generally good however if you want a chicken burger I advise to get the fillet burger and not the regular one as it's...pretty poor. Nice and clean which is what makes me choose this place over others as surrounding places I've seen are a state. Also parking is often an issue but great if you're local.
this chip shop is an absolute gem. I was just fishing and chip punching. it was one of the best I had, chips that just melt in the mouth. fish cooked fresh and not go dry in the cabinet hours. very reasonable...price for squid and chips. I'll be here again and again.
Five Star Fish Bar, is a lovely small chip shop in the Stockingford area of Nuneaton Reasonably priced good quality food with a cheery smile and family run, close to home.
