Flapdoodles Homemade Ice Cream

One year ago, my wife was at Mayo Clinic for a stem cell transplant due to blood cancer. During those two months that we lived in Rochester, we frequented this place for large, creamy doses of ice cream. Now we are back for her annual followup and to celebrate one year of remission! To this day, we still have no idea if it was all the Flapdoodles ice cream or the transplant that put her cancer cells into remission. Personally, I think it was the ice cream, and thus taking no chances, we will consume a bunch of it while we are here this trip. Medical implications or not, this is by far the most delicious ice cream I've ever had. And the service is spot on perfect too. We'll ALWAYS be back for...

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. Local premium handmade, made on site ice cream shoppe with two locations. Ice cream parlor offers a wide variety of flavored ice cream, malts and shakes, cakes and pies and even made to order waffle cones. We once again indulged ourselves with the Flabbermast, that came with two regular scoops in a dish with two mini sugar cones on top for sails. Our picks was the ever decadent salty carmel, a caramel and sea salt flavored ice cream and my go-to Rocky Road with chocolate ice cream, marshmallow swirl and chopped almonds. Support a local business and find yourself screaming for more ice cream!

I had to write a review for Flapdoodles. You have to check this place out! It has some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted, and I've been to many ice cream shops. The ice cream is top-notch and they are very generous with the mix-ins. I ordered a scoop of birthday cake and a scoop of spookie monster in a homemade waffle cone. Don't forget to try the waffle cone too. I also tried a few other flavors and they were equally delicious.
