We came here looking for a tasty,hearty meal and were not disappointed. I had wanted a curry or a chilli but there was nothing similar on the menu, so for the first time I tried the Hungarian pork goulash. It was a delicious stew, served with perfectly cooked cabbage and fluffy mash. A real cwtch on a plate! My partner had the lasagne which I have to say looked a little small, and didn't quite fill the oven dish it was presented in. The food at this restaurant surpassed my expectations and my family enjoyed a great meal here. Although it took a bit of time, we didn't mind waiting for freshly cooked delicious food. The menu undersells some items, like the fresh hand-battered fish which was a pleasant surprise and justified its cost of around £17. The staff were friendly and the soft drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, we really enjoyed our dining experience.
Visited twice while on holiday. Great Sunday lunch and later their dinner menu. All food was excellent and large portions. Service was fantastic with all staff members really friendly and happy to help. Dog friendly in the conservatory (book first) or on the terrace. They seem to always be busy so book to avoid disappointment. Great views across to Poppit Sands.
We booked our table for 9 people a few days before. Lovely welcome we were shown to our table near the window. The waitress was lovely with the children. Although it was busy we were served in a reasonable time. We all agreed the food was delicious. We would certainly recommend it and return. Where else can you eat a meal and see Dolphins swimming past.

From the lovely welcome to the end of our Sunday lunch was excellent, we enjoyed drinks looking out to the sea , called to the restaurant for lunch , the food was tasty plentifully, and perfectly cooked, the desserts were delicious, have eaten here before lunch time , always been good , 1st time Sunday lunch and it won’t be the last
Very poor service , inferior quality meals,and lack lustre menu which is overplayed.After having a number of very pleasant family celebrations in the past ,it is very sad not to feel at all inspired to visit the Flat rock again any time soon.
Nice bar and big seperate dining area. The menu is limited but the food is decent. We had lasagne but it was not as good as it had been in past years I visited.It came with a small tired salad. The views are magnificent!! Staff are lovely
Last minute reservation made on a lovely warm evening. The place was very busy but that did not reflect on the service. Stunning views of the coast to watch the sun go down. Good warm, nicely presented and tasty. Will return soon.

I went to this restaurant for lunch after a visit to the nearby spa. The service was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. The menu had a good variety and the food was delicious. I will definitely come back again.
Beautiful setting with stunning ocean views. The food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other nearby restaurants. A visit for a meal and a drink is definitely recommended.
