I'll keep this brief. Now I understand why many Black-owned food businesses struggle—sometimes it's our own doing. If you're searching for quality food at a fair price, this isn't the place. I paid $21 for a potato hash that was actually $15, but I was charged extra for four tough, reheated sausage pieces and a single slice of cheese, costs I only saw when I got the receipt. For that price, I could have gotten a crab cake platter elsewhere. To top it off, they gave me a stale cranberry muffin as a "complimentary" item. I want to support Black businesses, but overpriced, low-quality food won’t keep my support. I waited almost 30 minutes for some potatoes and overcooked turkey sausage. Lesson...
