Although the menu clearly labels which foods are vegan, when I ordered a vegan thali, repeated what I wanted and my friend repeated again, they brought me a non-vegan one. Also, the staff were rushing us a lot, coming to take our order when we were still checking the menu, trying to clear our plates whilst we were eating etc. They kept coming to check on us, which was nice the first time, but when three different waiters did it during one course, it's a bit annoying. What annoyed me most was that they asked my male friend what we would like and asking him if everything was ok with both meals. Otherwise the food I had was fine

We visit Hastings for the half marathon and found this restaurant after a quick search on Happy Cow we loved the fact that the vegan options are clearly marked. When we telephoned our order, the employee was very knowledgeable and happy to help. The food arrived quickly and was very delicious fresh flavors and no fat to taste! The lemon rice went down a treat with the children as well as the garlic mushrooms. The Veg dhansak was also a highlight! For a family of five we thought that the price was also very reasonable, but then we are used to London prices happy vegans all round!!

We went on a Monday night and it was completely empty except another table! All standard Indian curries you expect can be made vegan. The Dhal was really nice, Paratha slightly fat. Overall, a decent option when you found the place to which you wanted to go was closed!

The only place in Eileings where you can get a vegan naan! The Takeaway food is always great and arrives right and on time. One of the most expensive Indians, but worth it as a treat

The staff was friendly and welcoming. They knew about vegan food. Would definitely go back.
