The food at this restaurant was fantastic. I ordered the banquet which was reasonably priced. The vindaloo was delicious and the butter chicken was a huge hit. It is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. However, the service was not great. The waiter seemed disinterested and reluctant to offer us certain lunchtime specials. Each dish came out on separate plates, which made it difficult to pass around the heavy plates of food. Additionally, some dishes took a very long time to be served. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 4 stars simply because the delicious food outweighs the service shortcomings.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Canberra. Still definitely not the best I've ever had, but is definitely the best Indian I've had in Canberra so far. Good flavours that aren't over powered by salt unlike others. Perfect garlic naan bread with the right balance of crispiness and fluffiness.Excellent food complemented by outstanding service and cosy restaurant atmosphere overlooking the city walk, makes for a satisfying night out.

Good delicious Indian food, reasonable prices (mains <20). Can be spicy, need to ask for less spices if you are so inclined. Some of the seats are located in the lobby, so to speak, what is loud and people pass. If the restaurant is almost full, the lobby meeting is the only part available. The metal chairs are uncomfortable in the lobby.

This is our meeting place for dinner when we visit Canberra. Was recommended by my Indian brother in law and not to please us. The food is delicious and comes in generous portions. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. It also has a beautiful atmosphere and is directly in the center of the city. We'll be back soon.
I always like going to this place. The food is always excellent and in generous proportions. Usually I go for lunch for the specials, but occasionally will pop up on a Friday night for a late dinner. The vegetarian options here are particularly good.
Nice ambience, quick service but last time I was there with my colleagues the food wasn’t fresh, warmed up pakora that was made few days back, even though they didn’t charge for that I was hoping for a nice tasting pakora.

I would rate this higher if it wasn't for the rotten Bonda balls. I had diarrhea for over 24 hours.
