American Pub; not British. The menu had a few things on it which surprised me; not that they don 't have the usual Fish Chips; Bangers Mash; Shepherd 's Pie, etc. It was what they did with them ... Garlic Aioli? Caramelized onions and sauteed Brussels sprouts? Hot Mustard Aioli and Rosemary gravy? I think I might describe this more as, Pub fare American fusion style . The Shepherd 's Pie was truly abysmal runny, very cheesy (note: there is NO cheese in or on traditional Shepherd 's Pie that is an American addition), flavor was off, and the presentation was far from appetizing! The feel is ok but not great. Needs less lighting. Slightlier comfy seating maybe, but the bar stool fit me just right. Beer selection is very good. Union Jacks on walls are touristy and over the top. I had the bangers. Interesting with the sprouts caramelized onions but good. And hell yes you can smoke in there because thank God there are still places where adults can behave like adults unsupervised. We like to go places nanny disapproves of so we can get away from nanny. Anyway, dim the lights and add some table candles (or candle-like lights) and get an IPA on tap and it'll be my second home.
for a night of desulphurization and needed preference. looking for French riders, as I suspect that this would be my only option. I was pleasantly surprised to see several vegan elements on the menu! of course I ordered the french covered with curry sauce. they were so delicious. beautiful and salty, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. curry sauce was great with a hauch of heat. if they are fuel in the city of nashville looking for some late night, I recommend checking this place.
Amazing atmosphere, ale, and food. The strikers were delicious, as was the lamb curry. We stopped here on a whim one evening after walking the city and checking out the architecture and museums. The ale was the smoothest I've experienced, and the food was fantastic. The strikers are like sliders, but use Yorkshire puddings rather than buns and carry four different flavors. The lamb curry ended up passed about the table. We'll be back when we're back in Nashville.

Great salad, undercooked burger. I went here with a friend last week, and we split the beet salad and burger, with a side of roasted vegetables. We loved our salad and the vegetables were flavorful if a bit too oily for our tastes. The burger, while not bad, was definitely well below the medium rare that we ordered. Also, we both felt slightly sick afterwards, not because the food was bad but because it was all very rich.
I wish they had not allowed smoking. I would like to be able to eat here, but I understand that they allow smoking inside, and because I am asthmatic and have a heavy allergy against tobacco smoke, I will probably not be able to try this place: a pity, because I love British eating and it is so hard to find here in the states.

Smoking, really?. The food sounds really good, but a restaurant allows smoking, where people are eating? We'll pass. It's 2012 folks, get with the plan.
