lobsters were overcooked (back to kitchen) then undercooked (back to kitchen) and third time they aren't fresh. If fine dining steakhouse restaurants chose to serve “high-end” seafood dishes and charged $52 for two small lobster tails they should at least cook them right AND are fresh. I have prepared live lobsters before and these were frozen and not fresh. the restaurant comped me the lobster dish however they fell short when they brought a box of chocolate for my birthday but there was one piece missing. Kinda gross. Flemings in Tampa is excellent. Flemings in Sarasota is questionable. Do not plan to return even though the old fashioned drink is as great as Tampa's. I wish I could get exc...
We had a great Anniversary dinner at Fleming's Steakhouse in Sarasota last evening. We were greeted warmly by the host upon arrival and he offered us champagne and took a photo at our booth. We then met Barbara Farrell, our sever, and she made the celebration very special for us. Our salads, sides, steak and desserts were prepared perfectly, and we enjoyed a bottle of Quilt Cabernet with our meal. The entire experience was memorable, especially since this was our first visit to this Fleming's location. We look forward to returning in the near future to celebrate another special occasion, and hope that Barbara Farrell may serve us again.
what a really disappointing experience. this was bad enough that we will no longer participate in savor sarasota.our soup was ok and dessert was delicious however the main course which was only an ungarnished 6 oz filet was cold for all 4 at the table . as there is no side with this entree we ordered a baked potato which must have been prepared a week ago it was so hard. Outstanding meal and service for Savor Sarasota. Our whole party agreed! The petit filet mignon was wonderful! The manager and whole wait staff went out of their way to provide special attention and sweet treats for my birthday. Just can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion!
We had a fantastic meal here along with a great experience, thanks to our server, Susie. We never felt rushed nor ignored, she balanced service perfectly. Susie was a huge rt of making our experience great and is dedicated to pleasing customers. Fleming's: you are lucky to have such a delightful, hard worker.
The restaurant was very busy and service was very slow, but our server communicated well with us, letting us know that he was trying and what/when to expect each course. He turned a negative experience into a positive. The food was very good and the wine list was extensive with good choices. We will return.
