Food was very good and service was quick but staff were the rudest we have ever experienced. Clearly don't like foreign people in their restaurant so would advise perhaps they put a sign up saying locals only if they are to remain open. First time...we have gone to a restaurant and not left a tip as was so offended by the waitress's attitude to us. Not the first year we have been to this restaurant and we returned this year as the food was good last time and location handy. Difference this time was the behaviour of the staff who simply could not have been ruder. Wish we had checked reviews before going and not gone off just a good food experience from 2 years ago. I am a bit surprised to see all these bad reviews, as our dining experience here was very pleasant. The ambiance was great and warm, the service- very friendly. As to the food, I got the buffalo mozzarella/ tomatoes salad, which was delicious, and the...pizza (diavolo? , which was good. So nothing out of this world amazing (but then, in my opinion, few/none of the restaurants in St Anton are THAT amazing , but a perfectly nice meal in a cozy restaurant.
I had the schnitzel (and fries), which was fine. It was a lot of food, and tasted good. But the pizza looked really great! Another person in our party had a bowl of pasta that went on for days she could barely finish it!...Also, at the end of the meal, ask for a schnapps but have them bring out the schnapps tree (a round carousel type thing that had schnapps bottles and glasses on it). Very impressive!
Von 7 Tagen Aufenthalt in St Anton haben wir hier 3 mal gegessen. Immer Pizza Salami, immer beeindruckend. Der Käse... göttlich! Der Laden ist relativ klein und war immer bis unter die Decke gefüllt. Wartezeit an der Theke lohnt sich. Alternativ Ausserhaus. Personal freundlich und auf zack. Hin da!!! Reserva una mesa ahora
Wir sind trotz vieler schlechter Bewertungen hier essen gewesen und fanden es super gut! Sehr nette Bedienung, schneller Service und sehr leckere Pizza. Rest, außer Nachtisch, der ebenfalls sehr gut war haben wir leider nicht getestet. Machen wir beim nächsten mal! In Summe sehr empfehlenswert!
