The Flowing Tide in Sparks was our Monday night new place to visit . We arrived during the weekday happy hour. So we ordered a 1/2 price draft and a $6 nachos. The beer was cold and smooth. The nachos was a bit of a disappointment. Bagged chips, bottled salsa, factory gaucamole, jarred pickled jalapenos, black olives, melted cheese and some dry chicken. The nachos were nothing special but it was a very large serving. The wife ordered fish and chips. The fish was firm and moist yet still had the crispy exterior. The fries were average. This is a fantastic spot that stays open late for those late-night cravings. The food is delicious and the restaurant is usually bustling most nights. The Cobb Salad is especially impressive - it's a generous and flavorful dish. They offer a variety of options like burgers, salads, and other plated items, perfect for any time of the day, including late nights.

What is not to love here? The food is good and appreciated, the drinks are poured with a kick, and the staff is always friendly. You can seem to watch every televized sporting event while showing its Cue Stick skills at the pool tables, or while wearing Lady Luck at the bar video games. Try the shrimp cocktail; it's one of the best around!

I haven't had fish and chips this good in years. The meal included four delicious pieces of fish and authentic fries. They also offer a variety of berry options for dessert. Are you feeling alright?
