We stopped at Floyd while we were out. This Hometown café is obviously a favorite with locals. But only twelve minutes from I-20, Floyd's Cafe should also be a traveler's favorite. This is the place where Linda Ronstadt sang, where a hamburger sleeps on an open grill. Very simple all-American comfort food with large portions and home taste. The owners and employees are friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent. We visited on Thursday when the burger baskets are in special offer. So I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with onion rings. This is a good old-fashioned, hot-off-the-grill enormous 1/2 lb bovine patty crushed in Swiss cheese, mushrooms and grilled onions. You know, when you walk in the door, you have made a good decision: friendly staff and a beautiful, clean atmosphere. I recommend the pinto beans, slowly boiled in a pot the old-fashioned way, beside a thick hunk made from home meat loaf, which reminds me of the recipe of my mother. Don 't skip dessert; They offer a variety of treats including chocolate cakes and fresh fruit butterers in the season. They only use USDA Choice meat so that the hamburgers are healthy, juicy and tasty. One more thing: try the newer court Buzzi Bites because they're delicious.
Great place to go for the best burgers, fish and shrimp, and stakes I've ever had, the hand battered chicken fried stakes and chicken fried chicken are melt in your mouth good, last but not least the meatloaf is out of this world, I would recommend Floyd's cafe to any e and everyone I meat
