Let's start by stating this is NOT a luxury restaurant and you don't get specks on a plate resembling a work of art. At the other end it is better value than the fast food places with a proper chef/cook who is not a student...on a holiday job. No matter what main course you choose you can help yourself to vegetables etc with a much greater range than your average British carvery. If you choose the moules (mussels) again these are also unlimited, I returned times and each time was freshly cooked and hot. The only difficulty is understanding the system where you pick up starter if required and order to get a ticket for the main course.
Only place we found open apart from McDonalds and an Asian place which had a menu for euros per person! Flunch had some vegetarian things at least and we managed to eat something in Montlucon after driving round for an hour. This was loud...and full of kids but it was great value, you could go back for more veg but the price of salad was only for one plate. Was very grateful to find this place!!
Touring on motorcycles means you don't want to be trailing around looking for food. Next to our hotel we found a Flunch! Spag Bol salad bread and coffee for four. Less than Tasty. Quick. Lovely friendly staff. You can have everything from beer to...baby food. Sarnies to three courses. Real find!
If you are absolutely starving and tempted to try Flunch, eat at the MacDonalds instead. Yes its that bad. Like a disappointing motorway restaurant, you'll leave wishing you'd eaten elsewhere.

you don't have to go to flunch, nothing is interesting, the dishes have been the same for twenty years apart from the vegetables at will I don't see what will bring me back
good personal atmosphere friendly and smiling, clean room and good dishes that is not the case of all flunch, correct choice practice level parking car paste at crossroads
