Popped into the flying cow this morning for a coffee and a bite to eat.. we waited 5 minutes at the front counter before anyone even acknowledged us (despite the owner of the cafe standing right in front of us). We then proceeded to make our order once the waitress arrived and mid way through ordering the owner demanded the waitress 'take this chia latte' to table 1 and then come back and serve these people' like wow, thanks!!Then upon our second attempt of ordering our coffee the owner then rudely interrupts again and says 'look we'll make the coffees as quick as we can, you're probably looking at a 10 minute wait though' By this stage we were just over the service here and said 'don't worr...

We have come to this cafe many times in the last 15 years for chips when the kids were younger to scones for us. Unfortunately it is now a sad place. It was not busy when we were there. Was met by the unfriendly owner, no smile just a scowl and be careful if you sit at the front others might join you! Scones had run out but no suggestions of other sweet items. Tea was pathetic. No pot just a scalding cup with milk slapped down on the table. Funny because before l decided to post others are saying the same. Was embraced by her rudeness to someone wanting take away coffee. Not sure why you would run a business when you obviously dislike it so much and it stresses you.We won't come back. Went up...

Avoid this place. Very happy to take your coffee order and charge accordingly for you to discover after you have paid and accepted your coffee that it is UHT boxed Milk. Not what you expect in a dairy rich area and surely it would not hurt to mention is UHT milk Ok ?when i asked if it was UHT ( one sip reveals) the lady serving then said " so do you want your money back, " not sure this is the best way this could have been handled. I left with the coffee in hand however as after 600 kms riding around gippsland i needed the hit more than the $4.I found this to be a deceptive approach and I am sure the Shopkeeper/ serving person will have a different view however the damage was done. maybe sho...

My six-year-old was excited to see this cafe from across the street, as it appeared to be a magical place for children with its cow toys, ornaments, and children's books on display. However, when my daughter started reading one of the books, the owner came and took them away as they were only for decoration. When I asked the waitress for another book for my upset daughter, they only had one dull book available. There were no other books in the cafe that children could read, and overall, there was nothing for children to enjoy here. The service and food were also disappointing. Reserva una mesa ahora

I rode the southern rail trail and stopped at this restaurant twice, once in each direction. On Saturday, I had coffee and received pleasant service. I loved seeing the cows. On the way back, we stopped for coffee and scones. It was very busy, but we were informed there would be a wait. I was happy to relax and enjoy the cows in the great atmosphere. The scones were delicious. I think there is still space for more cows at this restaurant.

Dropped in for a cup of tea on the way back from the prom. Reluctant waitress took our order and we sat out the back, at least 20 minutes later she chucked a small jug of milk on our table. The other guests received the same ungrateful slow service. Eventually we got 2 cups of tea with a tea bag inside with a scowl. Luckily the tea was nice, couldn't have scones as they were out. Would have been nice to have had a pot and a smile!

I visited this restaurant three times in three days because there's nowhere else in town. However, I was disappointed with the coffee prices as they were quite high, with a large flat white costing $6. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was one of those rainy Victorian summer days when soup is the only thing one eats for lunch. Best chicken soup ever. Just as well. There were lots of other treats which were tempting...
