Flying Fox Café

A lot of the staff are quite young and don't really care about the quality of service as this is just a weekend/ afternoon gig. I went on a Saturday with my youngest daughter and wasn't overly impressed, the cafè could really do with a good clean up, if you look around the umbrellas are coated with dust and the clear plastic sheet visible when you walk in from the park is gross and yellow which is a bit of a put off.Food is OK, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I had the big breakfast and the mushrooms were soggy and not enjoyable, my daughter seemed happy with her cheesy melt and chips (although she is 8) so that was alright. Fine for getting a take away coffee and ice cream.

Visited on a Sunday in a group of 20 odd comprising a mix of Seniors, adults in their 30's & 20's plus children 6mths to 12 years. Had booked andour table was reserved in the requested location. A very busy establishment BUT the dining areas in gereral needed a good steam clean. Staff were pleasant and the ordering efficient. Food servings were plentiful BUT most dishes were well over cooked which was a shame as the coffee was excellent.

My wife has a serous Dairy allergy so we stressed 'No Milk' only Soya and then the Coffee arrives with Milk and now my wife has 3 days a stomach pain. Thank you flying fox you truly are a bunch of muppets

The first time that I went I loved! Amazing views in a extensive picnic area with the most incredible playground for the kids! If you want to go for a walk you will find perfects spots to go through

Great location for kids under 10. Space , good activities and there is the walk around the water as well.
