I've been to this restaurant a few times and each time the mood has been warm and friendly. Tonight's atmosphere was shrouded by whom I think was the owner. He practically commanded me to sit in the waiting area as I arrived early for a group reservation. He's stance in the small walk in space overseeing staff was arrogant and unwelcoming. I received the same arrogance later when paying my bill. None of this affected my enjoyment of the food which was great as per. Nor did it affect my evenings enjoyment. I just wonder how necessary it is to have someone who owns a business but clearly has no hospitality skills, at front of house! Even when he said good bye it sounded caustic
I returned to Mangals for my birthday dinner after a long time and was pleasantly surprised that they still remembered me! The quality of the food is still excellent. I enjoyed a delicious sea bass while Fred had the lamb chops, both of which were cooked perfectly. To top it off, we were treated to a complimentary Baileys for me and a brandy for Fred in celebration of my birthday. Thank you, Mangals, we will definitely not wait so long to return next time!
Was there for a birthday meal.(booked).we ordered starters an a main meal.we were still eating our starter a mains where served . Normally you wait till starters are finished with a little rest in between. I understand when they are busy people get frustrated because they may wait a little longer! But it wasn’t busy felt very rushed. Disappointed!! If you’re looking to eat a catch up with family a chat. I wouldn’t do it here.
Booked a table as it was the weekend. Huge travel issues ended up being 30 minutes late. After a small wait they seated us (it was busy). Food was amazing as always (mixed kebab/chicken wings/houmus/Tabbouleah/chips) well seasoned and cooked perfectly. So far I've never been disappointed when I've visited here.

Been here a few times over the years and can first hand say they are wonderful. Not only is it a great atmosphere, the food is delicious and staff are really friendly. My only concern is that the prices have risen quite significantly in the last few years, even pre covid.
40 minute wait and £42.00 spent on inedibly salty chicken. The moody, glacially slow service may have been tolerable but for the worlds worst house mix playlist. The £12.0 restaurant fee’ PLUS service, adds insult to injury. Never ever go here.
This is the best Turkish food I have ever had. The dishes were very flavorful, the portions were large, and everything was cooked to perfection. The flatbreads and smoked onion soup were particularly delicious.
The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic. It is likely the best Turkish food I have ever had in London. I highly recommend it. The prices are great as well.

Avoid at all costs. Dirty table; food not as described and badly cooked. Unsympathetic staff and generally bad atmosphere
This place serves great tasting food and has friendly staff. Highly recommend.for a casual night out
