Fonab Castle Brasserie

Place is absolutely brilliant. 5 star all the way. I’m sorry if I mess up names. Staff 5 star Room 5 star Service 5 star. Location and grounds 5 star. Spa 5 star. Thanks Meghan for great massage. Thanks Mike and Dave for a warm greeting. Spa staff 5 star. Thanks to whoever placed towels etc since I didn’t have time to have room made up. 5 star. Restaurant and food 5 star. Timothy the barkeep 5 star. A little pricey but fair. It’s 5 stars lol. Well earned. I love this area of Scotland. I’ll be back. Maybe stay in castle. Couldn’t say anything more about this phenomenal experience. Cheers. Larry

A beautiful restaurant with spectacular views up the river through ceiling to floor windows. We ate breakfast and dinner in the brasserie and the food is superb. So much choice and if you wanted something off the menu I expect it would be no problem to the chefs to accommodate this. Well presented food served by the most charming, hard working, exceptionally well trained and personable young staff.

We were very fortunate to be given a voucher for afternoon tea. There was a party of 6 of us. The food was to very high standard. We had a lovely time. The staff were extremely polite and explained each dish as they came out. Couldn't fault.

Fab overnight spa break with my daughter and sister. Rooms, service, food and staff all amazing. Spa...best massage i have had. We've been to Stobo. .Fonab was certainly the best. Will be back next year

Great hotel, nice bar and restaurant with wonderful view. Unfortunately didn’t book a room with a view, but next time will.
