Let's go to my review title, okay, I couldn't believe such a huge restaurant could thrive in such an out-way location. I had no idea that there would be so breathtaking valley and mountain views. I was amazed by the extensive menu, the fast service, the fine eating, huge serviettes and low trips. no wonder that the place was packed on a Sunday and yet ran as smoothly as a fine watch. some useful tips. this is 1.00 clock in Spain. note that the portions are huge, but the staff is completely happy to pack their rest in plastic boxes and then in a thick brown paper carrying bag. they expect more or less. if they are somewhere in this opposite, they must try this restaurant. This family-run restaurant offers innovative, modern Catalan-thematic cuisine, prepared by kreatiw and presented in a stunning mountain view. the sons who manage fonda rigà, studied at the girona hospitality and tourism school, where also the famous Roca...Brothers of el celler de ca’n roca studied and it shows! while not pretentious, it is warm welcoming and will give them a culinary experience that they will enjoy and remember for a long time. the arome and presentation are exquisite and they are keliac-friendly!

Estuvimos en el hotel con media pensión. La cena de la noche fue tan buena como en todos los lugares que visitamos. Había tanta variedad y realmente necesitábamos buen apetito, ¡porque las porciones eran gigantes! El personal era muy amable y la mayoría eran de la misma familia. Nos entristeció tener que dejar un lugar tan hermoso y la amabilidad de los dueños. Ya estamos planeando nuestra próxima visita.

To be honest, there is not enough adjectives to descrive this restaurant. Although it is far from the closest towns, it should be a crime to visit the area and miss it. Traditional catalan cuisine, afordable prices and fantastic views.
