This restaurant is a hidden gem for locals. Don't be discouraged by the rustic outside and old interior, because the food here is absolutely delicious. My family and I have been coming here for years and we have never been disappointed. Having traveled extensively through Asia, Thailand, and Indonesia, I can confidently say that Fong's serves authentic food. My favorite dish is the Schezuan tofu with chicken, and it is truly amazing. The flavors are rich and distinct, something that many Asian restaurants seem to lack. Fong's kitchen well when you go past it you get the impression of dive,food poisoning can't be that good but....The food is out of this universe 99% percent of the menu is amazing I have never had a bad dish here and never have I walked away disappointed it's always such fresh and fast service and the serving sizes are generous the three best dishes are boxing chicken,beef chow mien with noodle and salted fish and chicken fried rice .. hands down the friendliest staff and best Chinese in Australia it's just the shop is old and tired it's the only thing that lets it down will be back weekly

Last night we a friend found this resistant online whilst we were visiting the area. The restaurant had good reviews so we ordered take away. I'm usually a big eater and can handle 3 mains in a normal takeaway situation.I orders special fried Rice, combo omelette and lemon chicken. The food was clean, fresh and I would say the best Chinese I've had in a long time. I only managed 1 1\2 dishes before I gave in, the lemon chicken was actually stacked so high they put a lacky band on to try and hold it in. Big thumbs up for this restuarant I would recommend it others.

Took the recommendation from another reviewer to get the Nyonyan chicken and it was different but yummy! Also had sweet and sour pork, beef in oyster sauce and sizzling garlic prawns with a large combination fried rice. Everything was delicious with good portions - happily feed family of four. We have been fans of this restaurant for a long while. We lived just up the road so it was convenient and always tastes great. We got to know Mr and Mrs Fong very well. They use to give us extra things when we bought take away. The decor is a bit tired but it is clean.

The portions here are very generous, you won't leave hungry. Mrs. Fong gives great recommendations, so be sure to listen to her. It's a bit strange that they only provide one fork per person, but let's just consider it quirky and roll with it.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are always friendly. I have never had a bad meal there. Mrs Fong, the owner, is a delightful lady. I especially recommend trying the crispy almond chicken dish.

Great food and friendly staff. The wait time for the takeaway usually runs about 10-15 minutes over what they say it will take though. So order this great food but give it a while later before you go to pick it up. Reserva una mesa ahora

Don't be put off by the fading front wall. The food is delicious and the staff are really lovely, especially Mrs Fong! Don't miss this little gem.
