Fontana Restaurant

We invited our friends to the Fontana Club Restaurant for a social evening. When we arrive there, we asked the waiter, for a table overlooking water but he said that it was ‘reserved’. When we asked which table he had ‘reserved’ for us as we had made a booking, he gave us a table behind the one overlooking water. Fair enough, we settled there. However, for 2 hours no one came for the other table and later some passers-by just came and occupied that table but the same waiter who stopped us from occupying that table, did not even tell them anything and let them occupy the table. The restaurant is located in a golf clubhouse, a replica of a clubhouse in Florida. It had modern furniture mixed with wood cladding and plush carpet. It is located at the end of a lake with a large terrace for outdoor seats. Our waiter... looked a long way to get to our table with the menu and then get back to the order. I asked what the Fontana Club sandwich is, and he said rudely: a club sandwich. I asked well what's in there, he said chicken and an egg and salad.
