The Blue Star is a classic diner that offers comfort food at reasonable prices. The booths are adorned with shiny vinyl, giving it an old fashioned feel. They serve traditional all-day breakfast options and sandwiches, but the real standouts are their delicious cabbage rolls and perogies. If you’re in need of some solid comfort food that screams dive, do yourself a favour visit here. Yes it may look a bit scary from the outside, even the inside. But don’t be mistaken, this is a seasoned dive big time. It’s actually...difficult sometimes what to decide on to eat because most items are grub worthy. Here is the perfect to have for a small army or fat date night out: -Mozza Sticks -Small order of fries WITH gravy (a must try) of honey hot wings (ranch to dip) -A calzone, made almost like a gourmet version -The Lobster Sub (best I’ve ever had, no joke) -The Steak Sub, no brainer

Clearly morons. To the people that dislike this place have to be complete morons, too much steak on your sub?? your dumb, and they do have wheel chair access , everyone doesnt need to hand deliver everything to you cause you lost your foot to diabetes and cant give up the sweets. this place is one of the best restaurant in the region, go back to mc' d's, your lucky one of the regulars didnt slap some sense into you, you are in welland, remember that next time Reserva una mesa ahora

I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and it was phenomenal. We enjoyed some drinks and ordered food, which came in huge portions. The service was fast and the atmosphere was great. The glasses were chilled for drinks, which was a nice touch. All around, there were smiles everywhere. We also tried the giant pickle and it was delicious.

So we try to give this place a chance once a year, we get a burned pizza once a year so to keep that four year streak going we tried again. Saw new cooks and new staff, thought hey it might be ok... It was...not. I don't think I'll ever be back again, not to mention the prices compared to similar options around the area.

Tried For Pizza Sake last week. Ordered Pizza, Subs Chicken Fingers Order came to over I've had better pizza. Sub buns were stale I could not believe it when I was charged to use the debt machine I thought that...during COVID, debt was a preferred payment method. Never paid this amount to use debt before

I decided to finally give this place a try as a lot of people at work eat here. I had the regular size steak sub and a beer. The sub was fresh, huge and tasted great. A great place tucked away. Service is local, don't expect checkered tablecloths, or mediocre food served fast. I looked around and saw people waiting for great sandwiches and burgers. Can't wait to try the steak sub, my sausage and peppers was a great meal.
