This restaurant never disappoints and is one of my favorite places for pasta in NYC! It's an affordable and casual spot for pasta in Greenpoint. The one thing to keep in mind is that you need to act fast to get a table - it's always busy and the space is small for the number of people dining. It's self-service, so don't forget to grab your own utensils and clean up after yourself. Place your order at the counter and they will bring your food to you when it's ready. And make sure to ask for the focaccia bread if it's not included with your meal! I haven't tried all the pasta dishes yet, but so far my favorite is the pappardelle bolognese (priced at $13). The food at Forma Pasta Factory on Bedford St. was fantastic. We tried the Monday special which was goat cheese and ricotta gnocchi with Sicilian tomato sauce and fresh burrata - it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was laid-back and relaxing, and the staff were very friendly. Orders were taken at the register and then brought to your table on a tray with water glasses, silverware, napkins, and any additional beverages you ordered. The prices were reasonable, and the only downside was that we don't have anything like this in Bangor, Maine. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the city. Several young couples with children also seemed to enjoy the restaurant, so it seems...

After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, I decided to visit this restaurant. It was easy to get to by subway and definitely worth the trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pasta dishes we had were fantastic. I ordered the Mafaldine Scampi and my daughter had the Spaghetti Pomodoro. We both opted for the lunch option, which included a salad. Everything was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, and the prices were affordable. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. It was definitely worth the journey from South Carolina, via a stop in the Big Apple. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to others.

4.8. GREAT casual Italian spot in Brooklyn specializing in fresh pasta made in-house. Amazing selection of sauces and specials each day of the week. It’s a pretty fast paced, no/low-frill environment. Portions are generous, service is friendly. There is a street side patio, it’s a bit hectic. You have to clear your own plates and refill your own water etc, but they do bring the food out to you.The noodles are cooked super well and they have all the fun shapes. There are lots of veggie options- including the salads and side dishes.Accessibility- There are stairs to get inside but patio seating is on the street!

Y'all....$13 for the most scrumptious, flavorful, mouth-watering pasta dish in NYC???!! That's unheard of, but Forma has done it. Not only is their food delicious, but the service was super friendly and accommodating, despite how busy it was. Major shout-out to all the workers there for being attentive and going the extra mile for their customers all while doing a million things at once. Lines were out the door and for an understandable reason. Not pictured is the free bread you get on the side which is 10/10 and perfect for dipping. I can't wait to visit again! ?

everything is 5 loved how the atmosphere is there they were very assisting and helped us guide on how to order. This is the best pasta ever like eating from olive garden and applebees this opened up my appetite and taste buds. I’m obsessed I work nearby and walked here to eat for lunch. I’ll be coming back again. you get sit and eat anywhere it’s very casual for meeting up w friends getting quick lunch.

one of the best pasta I ever had. especially the Saturday special with braised bark meat shoulder was simply amazing. all the aromen were perfectly balanced. the service is also really good and they have an open kitchen! the only complain I would have dessert with. I'd like it if it was served instead of picking up from the cooler.

Five star pasta…..exquisite tomato sauce and AMAZING service. We went here for a quick dinner and safe to say we were extremely pleased by the experience (dude who took our order even gave us a fist bump) and the food. If you want delicioso pasta under 20 dollars this is the place to be! Look out for daily specials!!

Actually, we were pretty surprised how good that was. it was also really great – not too expensive. great aromen. they also love the shortened menu so that I do not overwhelmed with options. the best was by far the bolognese, but we also enjoyed the artichoke thunfischsalat.

SO good! The portions are really big for $13 each. The scampi was really good (7 shrimp! , and the pesto was good too. I would definitely come back here again :
