Five stars all the way! This place makes me feel like I'm in NYC. The waitstaff is exceptional, catering to our desire for a European-style meal paired with cocktails for every course, or adjusting to a more American approach if we're on our way to something afterwards. The calamari with spring roll sauce is an absolute must-try. I sampled my friends' salads while I enjoyed the delicious dumplings and even asked the waiter if I could buy a bottle of the salad dressing—it was that good! You can drive by this restaurant and not realize what you missed!!!! The turn-in to the parking lot is quick also! My son was invited to a friend's birthday party here. It's a very intimate and cozy ambience; a series of turns until reaching the small banquet area. There was room for about 15 of us and a table with appetizers was set up at the entrance to the dining area. (The vegetable rolls were beyond words!!!! Everyone had the option to order their own plate: Chicken, Salmon..... I ordered the chicken and when I seen the serving size, I didn't think I would finish it. We visited the area on a Friday evening. Formosa offers a pleasant atmosphere with soft music. Service is attentive. Food presentation is tasteful. Portions are plentiful. The Chicken Pad Thai could feed a family. I had a grilled ahi tuna with curry sauce (special) which was excellent. On the critical side the place could use a face-lift, bathroom is clean-ish but tired and my chair was wobbly. In my opinion the food is pricey, but I'm just a visitor.

Shirley Lewis. Wonderful to see more Rave reviews of this restaurant. It's one of our favorites. The food is wonderful, the steamed dumplings are perfect, the drinks are potent, the coconut ice cream is tantalizing and the best of all servers are intelligent and can be those who want to eat and run and those of us who sound, nibble and chat. Everything they serve is amazing. My family came because we couldn't find anything available anywhere else, and 2 minutes into our meal we decided this place will be a regular thing from now on. I had the the honey duck. Everyone raved about it.

I've only visited once, but the Asian fusion food was delicious. Three of us ordered appetizers, entrees, and deserts and shared each. Everything was well prepared. The Basil Filet Mignon was particularly good.
