Forsthaus Beckenhof

You have to get your own food and drinks, no service. Long lines to get a drink, very crowded on a nice sunny day. Only cash, no cards accepted. The menu is on chalk boards and simple. The food is o.k. but for no service it is not really cheap.

We only came to spend the night. Only 10€ for 5 in a camper van with toilets and shower included! Amazing price. The reception were really kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend and might come again

Cash only. It’s a long way from the road, so quite irritating to discover on arrival. Therefore we only tried the hotdogs, which were perfectly nice.

We ate lunch here today and liked the rustic ambiance, the isolated location in the woods, and the excellent reasonably priced food.

Good food for decent price. Lots of biking and hiking around. I would recommend a nice bike trip and then eat here after.

Lovely food and staff. Managed to take our booking although we had about 20 words of German. But good humour all round.
