Forsthaus Friedrichsruh

After we had visited the garden of the slim, we wanted to do something for our physical. it would have been offered to take a snack in the café vanessa, but as we were already in the opposite, we drove to the Bismarck Museum and past the motto of the Bismarck Foundation to the waldhaus friedrichsruh. the forest house is also idyllic on a small pond and has a children's playground. at the main entrance there is a plaque on which to read that it goes left to the terrace and right to the later summer festival. next to the entrance there is a hall, which is rustic and consists of cut euro pallets in front of the hall. the atmosphere in the Max-Schmeling-Halle is rustic with beautiful view into the green. the service was very polite and attentive, eating exquisite and very tasty. the selection of food is not too extensive, the drink card for them all longer. for this, the dives offered are very different with a focus on wild food, in some cases also really special like the “Ochsenbäckchen”.
