I have to mention that the kitchen has a look at the South Tyrolean cuisine. Whoever was there doesn't know the salads are served. Salt, pepper, vinegar and oil stand on the table. We and our dwarf dachman really liked... such a nice and friendly service...and tasted it too. Ideal for hiking, walking and cycling and as a highlight a return to the forest house Glauchau. We and our lady miniature dachshund liked it very much... nice and friendly service... and it tasted good too. Have lunch. Operation very friendly. Food and drinks were brought quickly. Menu clearly and not too much. Super servings where you get tired. Food tastefully top and fresh. price performance raised but justified. Ambience made to Austria/Tiroler Art. Despite an alpine hut, very modern. Toilets clean and modern. We're coming back

Very friendly staff. Very nice house in silence from a modern and new farmhouse as it stands in South Tyrol or Austria. Menu is clearly enough. Foods are very tasty and price performance is totally fine. We also found a few specialties from South Tyrol such as wine, ham and cheese. We can definitely recommend the forest house. Excellent location near the Rümpfwald between St. Egidien and Glauchau. Friendly, fresh and inexpensive cuisine with South Tyrolean specialities. Perfect hiking destination.
