While we were taking a Viking River Cruise to the area, all our meals were on board ship, but during free time one day, we were able to stroll around and found this old brick home which offers a wide selection of tea, beer, and...homemade pastries and cakes. It's really a nice place to rest while walking around Les Andelys. The bad news is is that it's only open Wednesday through Saturday, from but if you're in the area around that time frame, enjoy what they offer there, as well as the view overlooking the garden.

We stopped there after reading all the good reviews. The lady was really nice and friendly. She does everything in this nice home which is her own. We sat outside in the garden and enjoyed our tea which home made pastries and cookies. We enjoyed...the moment very much, it was really relaxing; We saw a shy peacock in her upper garden, it was really a charming way to end our day.

The Seine below, Richard the Lionhearted’s castle above, and in-between, a lovely tearoom. Everything perfect: the tea, the cakes, the view, the terrace, the interior, and the warm, quiet welcome.

A magical tea room nestled at the foot of a mediaeval castle in le petit Andelys the cakes were delicious and the hot chocolate was the best I've tasted a delicious treat! X

Great little place with fantastic pastries and cakes great view of the river jetty where the river cruisers pull in
