We have been here 4 times now. The first visit was pizza and drinks which were great. The 2nd visit they had to comp our entire meal for 10 because it took over an hour to get our entrees. Other groups came in after us, got their meal and left. The serverand manager came and said our meal would be out soon-and it still took 30 minutes more. But the food was very good.The 3rdvisit, our pizza, the only item we ordered took 45 minutes in a half empty restaurant. We had to get it boxed to go or we wouldhave been late to a concert. Last night, the food was poor. The Caesar was iceberg instead of romaine and the dressing wastasteless. The carrots were roasted well but were covered in a walnut crem...
Yesterday was my first, but certainly not my last, visit to this restaurant. For years Patsy's on 1st Ave between 117th and 118th Steet in Manhattan was top on my list. However, they now are placed 2nd since my visit to Fortina's. I want to thank allfor a very personal experience. The staff were very professional and obviously enjoyed working there. The dining area was hugeand the cleanliness was exceptional. But the taste of the fresh pizza EXCEEDED my expectations. I look forward to future visitshere. KEEP UP YOUR HIGH WORK ETHICS AND COOKING SKILLS!!!!
After waiting an extended time with the server telling us the food was coming we were later told our ticket was lost. Not sure how that happened since we received some of our dinner items. Manager came over to comp the 2 remaining items but then had towait again for the items to be bagged. Service was disjointed, there was no following up on anything. Food was. Not worth theinconvenience of bad service. I am from out of town and dine here several times but it will be difficult to convince folks todine here again.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for large lunch or dinner gatherings! My favorite dishes include the grilled vegetable platter, chicken bib salad, any of their pizzas, and the meatballs. If you're looking for vegetarian options, the grilled vegetable platter is absolutely addictive. The service is great, and I usually dine in for lunch. You can expect to spend around $30 to $50 per person.

1st time there... appetizer was calamari, it was tasty. Then I ordered the wood fired Paccheri. A la vodka. No vodka sauce, the pasta was very dry and hard. And when they say mini meat balls they mean mini. The size of a dime and only 3 meat balls. Chicken cutlet parm also very dry. The service was good and I love the ambiance. Would go back perhaps for the drinks and pizza. Service: Dine in
We came here on back-to-back weekends after finding this spot on a whim. Service is great and hasn’t been overly crowded to deter us from coming. Food got to us on time and most importantly, tasted great. Mitch was really nice and accommodating -we’ll absolutely be throwing Fortina in the rotation!
We discovered this place and decided to visit on the weekends. The service was excellent, and it wasn't overcrowded, which made for a pleasant experience. The food was timely and delicious. Mitch was especially friendly and accommodating. We will definitely make Fortina a regular spot!
I'm not a fan of the Fortina restaurants. The service is consistently poor, and the food is quite basic. My pasta arrived slightly burnt, but what bothered me more was how dry it was.

The mozzarella sticks here are the best I've ever tasted! I absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic, although the service could be a bit better. Overall, it's really great!
Excellent service. The pasta was too al dente (in 2 types of pasta dishes) but the sauce was very good. Pizza was good too.
