I’m more than happy to give this place a full 5 stars because it truly deserves it! This little gem on La Brea has become a family favorite. They still serve classic old-fashioned ice cream, and the burgers have that delicious grill aroma that makes your mouth water. I could rave about it for hours, but I don’t want to spoil the experience for you. Just know that it's the perfect spot to enjoy with your family or for a budget-friendly date. Trust me; you’ll have a great time! After all, who doesn’t love Foster’s Freeze?

I'm so frustrated that there aren’t more locations! The flavors remind me of my childhood. The prices are reasonable, and the ice cream is phenomenal. I’m a huge fan of the chocolate soft serve dipped in chocolate. My teenager couldn’t stop raving about the strawberry cheesecake shake. They even gave my dog some whipped cream when I asked for it.

This is the flagship location of Foster's, and it serves the best soft serve ice cream in Los Angeles. The establishment is the original and features the nostalgic walk-up hamburger and custard stand. Treat yourself to a hot fudge sundae topped with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a cherry!
