Four of us went for a joint birthday dinner The food was really amazing,the dinner was very thoughtfully put together in regards to taste presentation we had the 3 course dinner very good value for money and larger than expected portions we loved the focus on seasonal local The Service was exceptional , he was knowledgeable very friendly as was the chef who came out to present the dishes Really Great warm atmosphere in the bar area as it was pretty quiet re dinners as it’s early in the season Will be back for sure

We went for Sunday Brunch which is exceptional. The Breakfast Poutine is the single best egg dish I have ever experienced....addictive. Service is exceptional and the welcoming staff are informative, warm and friendly. Dinner is equally outstanding and the varying seasonal tasting menus keep it fresh and exciting. My only quibble is the very Nova Scotia centric wine list. Our wines I am a local! are limited in choice particularly reds....a few more selected import reds would enhance the overall experience.

Had the 3 course with cooking snacks and beef tars starters (both delicious). Scallops were perfectly boiled, the lobster was possibly the best I ever had, and the chocolate goose was to die. Service was excellent, and overall a wonderful experience.

I have eaten several times in this restaurant, it is absolutely fantastic!! Delicious and creative, the service is amazing. The dishes are imaginatively made with local ing. This is a must for all who enjoy fine food!!

We had a nice evening with founders in their season. It was uncharacteristic quiet, but it didn't take away from a wonderful evening. Several visits in recent years and yet it always seems fresh and new.
