I ate her for birthday. eating was good, a bit expensive, but not annoying. I had the farmer platter and my wife the scallops with butternut squash risotto. both had a lot of food and that was delicious. to dessert my wife had the hot Fudge sun. she likes chocolate ice cream, but forget that came with vanilla. the ice was excellent. I had the carrot cake with a vanilleeis scoop. the carrot cake itself was a little denser than I like and had very few rusties and no walnuts. the frosting was excellent. we have to go a long way to hit the cheesecake factory carrot cake.
We arrived a little early but they seated us right away. I have been to Founding Farmers before and always find it crowded and noisy but the location was convenient for me and my friend. We went for brunch. The restaurant has a good brunch menu but I have had better buttermilk blueberry pancakes at other restaurants and when the waiter brought the side order of bacon it was two scrawny pieces of bacon. When I complained the waiter brought me a bowl of bacon. Seems service from the kitchen is a bit uneven.
ff is out of her game. ignorant by the check in personal and food service personal has been stretched. Eating is still great, but it is hard to have 2 hours lunch with 3 employees interactions.
Wow was this place crowded. We had to wait despite having reservations. Too many kids raising the noise level and running around. And did we say crowded? Service was great.
