Fountainside Doubletree Hilton Pikesville

Outdated restaurant in a local hotel. Although the staff was very nice, it was very 1970's and it just didn't appear clean. Old carpet, tables, etc. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. It was nice that we were able to watch the baseball game in the bar area table, otherwise, we would not have hung around.

We needed to find a restaurant in Pikesville because we were attending a performance after dinner. We had eaten in several area restaurants and wanted to try somewhere new. The food was very well prepared and the service was attentive without being overdone. We will go back in the future.

The service was excellent. We were seated on the side away from the bar which was good because the bar was noisy. The crab cakes I had were delicious but my husband's ribs were dry and tough although he said the flavor was delicious.

The service was very good and the place was clean. I thought the pricing was a bit high but it's worth it if the food is good. My parents liked their dinner but my pasta was virtually flavorless.
