An unexpected little jewel with fabulous food and quick service. The menu is well made with just enough dishes to give you a good choice but not so many to confuse and confound. The menu reflects Mediterranean influence, Arabic and Indian especially with the flatbreads...and use of coriander and ginger. And there are enough vegetarian dishes to keep you happy. The small Matan shrimps, the grilled asparagus, oysters and the flatbread were polished off in no time. For the main meal we ordered grilled trout, lobster, gnocchi, and the baby chicken. From the get-go, our waitress was snarky and inattentive. When I ended up changing my mind and ordering the rioja (only one of four light reds on the wines by the glass menu; no cabs or heavier French fare to accompany the red meat), she...sarcastically retorted, oh, that's the one YOU said you didn't like when I asked about a particular Bordeaux on the list, she explained the basic taste of a Bordeaux to me, not the characteristics of that particular wine. When we left, the hostess/coat check person couldn't find my jacket and when I found it myself, she seemed to imply that it wasn't mine, but that it belonged to someone in the group she just sat. Went to Foxy’s because of its high ratings but was very disappointed. Noisy and dark place...could not really see what I was eating from the seasonal salad plate: was it a piece of lettuce or tomato or bread??? The famous focaccia is just a slice...of grilled bread drenched in oil. The meats were served in super heavy, oil drenched sauces, definitely overwhelming the grilled flavour of the meat and chicken. If you are into overdone, oil drenched sauces and vegetables to accompany your grilled meats, this place is for you.
Went here as a couples night out a few times and the service as well as the food is a hit or miss. With so many good restaurants in Montreal one needs to try to stand out. The last time I went the service was horrible waiters and host pretty rude. The vibe in there was so Bad we didn't even stay.Amazing how once these restaurants gain some fame service starts spiralling downwards.If you are in the area try the Richmond. Food is good but the service is awesome! Friendly and happy staff.

We were 2 couples in the mood for a great diner. We ate well (even if you have don't have a lot of choices) but the service was so bad, that we ended up hating our experience. Our waitress was haughty and they wanted us to order as soon as possible so we can leave the table for others. We felt pressure all along, even at the begining. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Big disapointment because i was so happy to try this restaurant!
We went to Foxy right after their reopening in July We were seated on their outside terrace which is nice and cozy. Service is warm and professional. The menu is unique and different from main stream restaurants with fresh ingredients and options that are...very creative. Their wine list is mainly private import which brings very nice discoveries. Cant wait to go back !
A beautiful space in hopping Griffintown. Warm and attentive service and a good wine list. Food was good but not great. My starter--homemade feta--was sublime but the gnocchi were extremely heavy and in a buttery sauce. Overkill. Would go back and order 2 entrees instead...More
Foxy is one of my favour restaurants in Montreal , part of the group that own , Olive Gourmado , my favour lunch restaurants in Montreal From the service to the food , all amazing , the smell from the wood oven cooking is...great and well coming Highly recommended

The food at Foxy was absolutely outstanding! My favourite dish was the Chipotle and Lime Ceviche which was sublime! We enjoyed the entire experience, the food, the wine/drinks, the ambience and the staff were all fantastic. I highly recommend Foxy to all!
