We decided to try this restaurant for some Indian takeaway based on the positive reviews. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, and Chicken Biryani. The staff at the restaurant were very polite and courteous, which was a positive aspect. However, as someone from Sydney accustomed to great Indian food, we were disappointed to find that the flavors did not match our expectations. The Chicken Tikka Masala did not taste like traditional tandoori chicken, as the meat seemed to be boiled. The Biryani lacked flavor and did not resemble a typical Biryani dish. Although the Naan was good, we were craving the authentic, tried-and-tested flavors of Indian cuisine that were missing from our experience....
this restaurant is now called curry garden restaurant, very clean, beautiful scenic facility and eating is great. we have tried and thought many Indian restaurants that eat here is so far the best we have found. not too expensive, main meal. around $16. the pappadums they give at the beginning of the meal are best what I have ever had. great service, b.y.o and they also deliver to a large area for just $5 that is cheap. they would not expect such a great little place where it is, but try it if they like Indian food.
great authentic Indian cuisine with the recipes prepared by the cook, which was distributed through the generations. the owner of the restaurant is in all the aspects of the company hands up and gives great advice what are dishes for them....price was good as we had for a family of four close to $100 and we had left eating. go behind this place if you want the right deal. There are no gimmicks here.
We had a good dinner there. Got to know that the shop just been taken over by this new owner couple, wife is Vietnamese and she is doing vietnamese lunch, and husband is indian and Indian dinner. Great service, friendly, polite and reasonable speed. Naan...is brilliant, dishes are delicious, might be a bit dear and sort of matching their cooking. Overall it was a good night good dinner.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is excellent. Although it is a small restaurant, the decor is beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys freshly cooked Indian food. You can sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting for your dinner to be ready. They also allow you to bring your own wine.
We used to visit this restaurant quite often then it went off. it has now been taken over by new owners and the food and service is now excellent. We had two curries and really enjoyed them, lovely home style indian food. The new owner...is very nice and we will be going back quite often.
One of the best Indian Restaurants I have tasted on the Gold Coast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very generous portion sizes at a great price. Definitely recommend and will be going back there soon myself Thank you for a great dinner
