After waiting a while without being greeted, I called the manager over. He apologized and informed us that the kitchen was backed up, and he took our drink and appetizer orders. However, it was unclear why the kitchen's issues affected us not being greeted by a server at all. When we finally met our server, we placed our orders and saw her only a couple of times afterward. She spent more time attending to the tables around us, serving birthday desserts and drinks, as if she had forgotten we were even there. Mia Francesca has been my pick when it comes to italian traditional food for a long time. We used to go to the one on the Northside of Chicago for over 15 years. Today I had my car serviced at a Barrington dealer nearby, so I went to Francesca's Famiglia for lunch. And,boy,it didn't disappoint! I had the rigatoni with eggplant from the lunch menu and it was exceptional! The pasta was perfectly cooked,eggplant very tender and fresh mozzarella complimented the creamy and mildly spicy sauce. Mouth watering as always. Very good service and the place is extremely clean. Would definitely come again!!!

I visited this restaurant recently for a family gathering, and everything was fantastic. However, one standout aspect was the Food Runner, who I believe is named Cindy. She did an exceptional job delivering our plates and was very organized and professional in her work. Her service was great, and her positive attitude was infectious. Cindy also demonstrated impressive knowledge of the menu, answering all our questions about dish ingredients and providing excellent recommendations for our next visit. We will certainly be back!

Virginia, our waitress, truly went the extra mile to make my mother's birthday special and memorable. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious! We tried the pasta with vodka sauce, which was fantastic, and the special mushroom ravioli, which was perfect. I highly recommend both this restaurant and Virginia as a waitress! Virginia took such good care of us. She is so kind and personable…as a brown woman i felt seen and safe. . And this is before we get to the food and wine. Delicious. Great ambiance. Enjoyed the whole vibe. Love this place and will be back again. Had a great time!!

First time being here. Excellent food service, especially our server Virginia. She was very sweet very patient with us (was here with my niece from Japan needed to translate things here there). We filled up our tummies with our lunch, we couldn’t have dessert

We just had our fathers day celebration there and ate outdoors. The ambiance of the outside seating was great. Our server, Ivan, was attentive, very professional and knew the menu well. Thank you for the wonderful service l.
