Francesca's Waffle Milkshake And Sandwich

This restaurant brought back wonderful memories of the old-fashioned milkbars from my youth and the trips in the sixties to enjoy a real Knickerbocker Glory. It’s an excellent retro-style milkshake bar with a fantastic selection of flavors; I tried the Turkish delight and their large waffles topped with ice cream and a variety of toppings. The experience was very budget-friendly, and the service at the table by the lovely lady who runs the shop made it all the more delightful. I’m definitely planning to try the toasties next time, but today I had to indulge in the waffle. Treat yourself when you visit—I’m saving the Knickerbocker Glory for another time!
