We've passed this place going to and from the shore, and finally thought we'd try them out. No reservation required, and there's a pretty large bar area plus table seating. I'm not sure about alcohol prices or specials, but the bar sure was popular. Fortunately, there wasn't any wait for a table on this Sunday evening. First, they bring out the (endless) bread and butter- well, once you order, that is. The bread tastes fresh and warm, the butter is cold but still spreadable. I ordered the housemade spaghetti with marinara, which did taste good and fresh. My sister ordered the chicken parmesan, and received a whopping portion (a whole plate was just the chicken, with the pasta in a side bowl)...
I recently had dinner at this restaurant, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Seafood Pasta – it was absolutely delicious! The service was equally impressive, also receiving a 5-star rating. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, earning a 4 out of 5. With an average cost of $20–30 per person, I would definitely recommend this place for a delicious dining experience.
One of my favorite places to visit on a Sunday. While the dining area is somewhat plain, the bar area is cozy and enjoyable. I really appreciate that they have a handwritten special menu available every day. As for vegetarian options, they’re happy to accommodate your preferences. Service was great, and I had dinner there, spending around $20–30 per person.
I personally hate watching the news. Once we were seated, all I could hear was the TV at the bar. I also personally consider going to an Italian restaurant a more romantic dining experience, and the TV gave it more of a sports bar feel. The worst Italian food I've ever had. It could have been a good place for my husband I to get take out, because we live close, but never again. Ravioli wasn't cooked, they were actually hard. Veal parmigiana was disgusting . Salad dressing had no flavor. When I called to talk to management, they left me on hold. Never again!
