Sorry about the lack of photos this time... when they 're slammed it 'll take a bit to get your food so we dug right in. Super great value and cozy old school vibe. It looks like it did when your grandparents were regulars. Friendly hard working staff, extensive menu and unbeatable kids deal at $6.50ish including drink- even the kids chicken tenders are hand-breaded. They 're busy at dinner- take their suggestion to rush your kids food especially if you 're ordering the popular fried chicken which is 100% worth the wait (and weight). Mashed potatoes I think are geniusly Yukons instead of Russet so they are even better than you 're expecting. Spaghetti was good but it 's not a sweet sauce if...

The atmosphere is cute and very clean. A good old fashioned pizza joint with broasted chicken. Chicken dinner with mashed potatoes /gravy and broccoli was served warm, not hot. Antipasto salad with anchovies was tasty. Homemade ranch dressing was great. Will return to try the pizza, as it looked delectable. Most customers seem to order the chicken or the pizza.

I am amazed at how a pizza can look so delish but have no flavor. Crust was like cardboard, sauce was tasteless. Veggies and meat were fresh and plentiful but again zero flavor. We ordered 2 large pies, one a 2 topping and 1 specialty along with a 12 piece of T-Ravs and it was $70.00.

Best pizza in stl and a staple in university city. The dough is handmade and the Italian dressing is the best ever had. You will not go wrong with the fried chicken either. We frequently went here growing up and I take my kids now as well.
