The best food I've had there in 30 years! I stopped visiting about 15 years ago because I didn’t enjoy the dishes I tried, but since the restaurant is just a block from my house, I decided to give it another chance. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with my experience. I learned that the restaurant has recently been sold to the head chef, Rob. My meal was outstanding! The only downside was the bartender's lack of interest in whether I needed anything. My glass of wine was nearly empty by the time my meal arrived, and she didn’t check if I wanted another. The food was exceptional, and the service was generally good. For these reasons, I would highly recommend this restaurant and would likely visit again. However, I wouldn't choose it for celebrating a birthday. I understand that I should have called ahead to see if bringing a cake was allowed, but I've never encountered this problem at other restaurants in St. Louis. It’s important for businesses to make customers feel valued and to acknowledge special occasions. A birthday cake wouldn’t adversely affect your business, and I believe there's definitely room for improvement in this area.

Every visit to this restaurant is a fantastic experience! The waitstaff consistently provides excellent service. The menu largely comprises traditional dishes that are of exceptional quality. The wine selection is just as impressive as the food. Prank Papa's has cultivated a loyal following among families and individuals who return time and again throughout the year. The prices are fair, and the portion sizes are generous.

The menu is impressive, and the food is outstanding. The calamari was exceptional. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection, while my wife enjoyed the salmon. The dessert was delightful too. She had a chocolate martini, and I enjoyed an espresso along with our tiramisu. We were seated in the cellar, which I didn't even know existed—it's a lovely, quiet setting. The service was fantastic overall. Thank you!

I had a wonderful meal with my sister and brother-in-law during our visit to St. Louis. You can really feel the family love and care that has gone into maintaining this restaurant over the years. The steak, chicken, and veal dishes were delicious. They even helped us celebrate a birthday! Thank you, Frank Papa's!
