Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus

Frankfurt/Oder was just a day visit for me, but I went twice to this restaurant. the interior was picturesque, but in the beautiful weather was the terrace overlooking or irresistible. the menu, with predominantly potato dishes, was incredibly varied,...and I enjoyed both meals (lunch and dinner) when I come back to Frankfurt/Oder, I will eat here!

I visited Frankfurt (Oder) with my mom on a German holiday when everything was closed. It was a chilly day so we stopped by the Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus for coffee to warm up. I am glad we did. All we had was strudel and coffee, so...I can't speak to the whole menu, but the strudel was excellent, as was the service.

This is a nice little spot right on the Oder river. Everything on the menu has some kind of potato element. I had their spin on wienerschnitzel, which was a pork steak dipped in mashed potatoes and then pan fried really rich and really...tasty. It's also great for unwinding and enjoying local beer.

A typically twee, faux olde worlde tavern with exposed wood as far as the eye can see. The food was of the beer-hall variety and would be deemed quite good by the unfussy. Less welcome was the ambivalence of some of the staff. Reserva una mesa ahora

The waitress was very polite, the food was amazing, and the place was very clean. My husband and I both ordered the steak and pan-friend potatoes and it was so mouth-watering delicious. Bring cash bc they don't take card.

La camarera era muy educada, la comida era increíble, y el lugar estaba muy limpio. Mi esposo y yo ordenamos las papas de bistec y panorámica y fue tan deliciosa deliciosa. Trae efectivo aC, no llevan cartas.

the restaurant is located directly on the promenade. eating was simple and tasty and there were good local beer on tap . reasonable prices. English menus are available.

if they like kartoffels of any kind, this is a great restaurant to try out. we enjoyed eating and ambiente too cozy

it seems to be the only restaurant right on or on the side. regular German menu, delicious. very friendly service.
