Frankie and Benny's is a well-known chain restaurant. Unfortunately, my experiences at various locations have been consistently poor, including the one in Romford. The restaurant is located conveniently near the cinema in the brewery, but in my opinion, that is its only positive aspect. The salads are wilted, the meats and fries are greasy and soggy. The restaurant itself is cramped, making it difficult to navigate, and the atmosphere is dark and dingy. I'm not sure who continues to dine here, as it seems taste is not a priority for them. I don't consider myself an Italian food expert, but with a large group of friends who had this beautiful island, I had the pleasure to taste the most beautiful food from this region. One good thing about having a birthday party in a dine out restaurant is that it eases you of the energy sapping task of having to prepare the food. Last October, I was at Frankie and Benny’s with some friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The ambiance was good, the food was okay. I had F&B meatballs which is a pasta meal comprising of pork and beef meatballs in stewed tomatoes loaded on spaghetti. The meatballs were delicious but the tomato sauce tasted bland which made the spaghetti less enjoyable. Their services were quite fast and their staff’s were really friendly.
There isn't much to say about this restaurant, other than the employees seemed disinterested and the food was below par. It was clear that the dishes were bland and not prepared with care. While I don't expect gourmet meals at Frankie and Benny's, I do expect them to show some effort in serving their customers. Unfortunately, the lukewarm food seemed to have been sitting out for a while as the staff were preoccupied with their own conversations.

This restaurant offered fantastic vegan options! The staff was very friendly, and although it took a bit longer than expected to receive our drinks—arriving only after we had finished eating—they apologized sincerely and even offered us a refund. As a 16-year-old without a job, I found this place to be very family-friendly and more affordable than many other restaurants. I definitely recommend it! xx

My experience at Frankie and Benny's was disappointing. I had booked a table for three people but upon arrival, I was informed that the table was not yet ready. They asked me to wait for 5 minutes but after 10 minutes, the table was still not prepared. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation.
Everything was perfect about the meal; the only downside was that the restaurant never received our reservation.
